SDC Foundation signed an MoU with Tula's Institute on December 27th, 2024. This MoU aims to promote the concepts of a circular economy, waste-to-wealth initiatives, and encourage students to launch startups related to plastic waste management.
Under this collaboration, SDC will assist Tula's Institute in establishing and operationalizing a Plastic Bank on Tula's campus. The Plastic Bank Project is a citizen-led initiative focused on addressing plastic waste management, promoting recycling and circular economy, and supporting climate change and sustainable development efforts.
Further, SDC will collect, segregate, and process plastic waste primarily for recycling and conversion into energy or other plastic waste recycled products.
