Social Development for Communities (SDC) Foundation has been working with Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) on Urban Governance Fellowship for students of Uttarakhand. SDC is responsible for the entire curation of the fellowship programme. The Foundation has been responsible for creating a mechanism for application, setting application filtration processes and carrying out the communication for the fellowship.
SDC has been engaged with MDDA as Knowledge Partners for the last three editions of the fellowship programme. The fellowship focuses on urban governance and cutting edge policy for issues like water, city planning, transportation and architectural bylaws. The fellowship lasts for about six months. Last year students and graduates enrolled in courses like Engineering and Architectural/Planning are eligible to apply.
