Dehradun Smart City Limited (DSCL), Government of Uttarakhand partnered with SDC Foundation for conducting an extensive one-month citizen engagement and outreach program, titled as ‘Dehradun Smart City Talks’. The campaign was executed in five educational institutes (four colleges & one school), comprising of more than 1100 students who participated in the Dehradun Smart City Perception Survey. The perception survey was designed and conceptualized by SDC Foundation. The objective of the Smart City Talks was to make citizens (especially the youngsters) of Dehradun, aware of the ongoing smart city projects and ensure citizen engagement. Students were encouraged to share their ideas and feedback on various smart city projects. The same was collated in the form of a report and submitted with DSCL. The campaign was conducted in February 2018.
