SDC Founder Anoop Nautiyal was invited by Hon'ble Governor Uttarakhand Lt. Gen Gurmit Singh (Retired) for a detailed data-driven discussion. The session focused on key issues in Uttarakhand, including waste management, migration, reverse migration, women empowerment, and electoral data.
The migration perspective in Uttarakhand was examined in depth from the point of view of the state electoral data. The conversation covered various historical, cultural, economical, regional and societal nuances in Uttarakhand. It was extremely touching to see the deep concern of the Hon'ble Governor towards the women of the state and his immense faith in the power of their abilities to be the harbinger of change for a progressive Uttarakhand.
Apart from the above, the Hon'ble Governor spoke about various other citizen engagement initiatives like sanitation (swachhta), plastic waste management and public health during the pandemic. He shared his vision and priorities for facilitating reverse migration, working towards women empowerment, promoting organic farming, establishing AI enabled businesses and lastly, creating an ecosystem for game changers in our state.
