Internships are invaluable for any organization that wishes to grow through objective opinion and ideas. A two-way street, internships also give interns a golden opportunity to understand the workings of the organization and take part in the process. To further enrich the experience for our interns, SDC Foundation’s Winter Internship 2017 participants got to meet and interact with Dr. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal on December 14, 2017. Dr. Uniyal is Assistant Dean at the Dehradun campus for IIM Kashipur. He is also on the advisory board for SDC. Dr. Uniyal and the interns discussed the primary irks of Dehra Dun, such as Solid Waste Management, Road Safety, Traffic, Crime and Safety, and so on. On his behalf, Dr. Uniyal also guided the interns on how to analyze data, conduct field, and desk research. Another well-spent day at SDC!
