Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration and SDC joined forces to beat plastic pollution. 180 IAS officer trainees and faculty members from Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie along with 15 members of the SDC team; participated in Great Himalayan Clean Up & Brand Audit Drive in Mussorie’s Company Garden and Buddha temple near LBSNAA campus. 150 kgs of waste was collected & audited with the help of LBSNAA sanitary staff. The event was flagged off by director of LBSNNA academy. The initiative takes place every year in the 12 mountain states of India. The objective of the audit is to identify the major brands responsible for plastic pollution in the sensitive Indian Himalayan Region.
