SDC Foundation participated in the annual Doon Literature Festival. The Foundation was represented by Anoop Nautiyal, Founder, SDC Foundation. The session – ‘Go Green – The Future of Waste’- focussed on discussing the challenges of waste management at global, national and local levels. Anoop talked about the role of ULBs and how it can be improved upon to manage the growing problem of waste management in the cities. He talked about community engagement and how innovative and decentralized models can prove to be a handy tool in fighting the problem of growing waste.
