In its first edition of SDC Dialogs, Foundation organized a webinar on “Discussing the State of Public Health Systems in Mountains” on 13 August 2020. Experts from Uttarakhand participated in the discussion and provided critical insights on the subject. The discussion was moderated by Rishabh Shrivastava, Lead – Public Policy and Communications, SDC Foundation.

Dr. Ajit Gairola, Former Director, National Health Mission – Uttarakhand; Dr. Garima Pant, Senior Medical Officer at Sub-District Hospital, Mussoorie and Anand Sankar, Kalap Trust participated as panelists in the discussion. They discussed policy and implementation related aspects of public health systems from the perspective of mountains. The webinar also discussed the COVID-19 situation and key learnings for the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand.
