Uttarakhand Academy of Administration, Nainital is the ‘Apex’ Training Institute in the state of Uttarakhand. The institute was established as Officers Training School (O.T.S.) at Allahabad in 1951 to impart professional training to the IAS officers allotted to U.P. cadre, PCS officers and Judicial Officers. The Officer Training School was shifted to Nainital, in 1971, to its present campus, which is popularly known as Ardwell Camp
