Food and Drug Administration Department, Government of Uttarakhand in association with SDC Foundation conducted round table discussion on issues related to plastic waste management in Rishikesh. The discussion was executed with the members of the Business Association of Rishikesh. The participants were sensitized about the regulatory framework governing plastic waste and other related issues. Foundation also advised the organizers to not to use any single-use plastic items in any of such events or gatherings.
