SDC Foundation successfully established its 7th and 8th plastic banks at DAV Inter College, Prem Nagar (on 4th Feb 2020) and CNI Girls’ Inter College, Rajpur Road (on 7th Feb 2020) respectively. The objective behind the plastic banks is to put in place a system of source segregation, collection and recycling. At DAV, around 420 students will be able to make use of plastic bank and learn the basics of plastic waste management. On the other hand, at CNI Girls’ school, 500 girls will be able to participate in the sustainable management of plastic waste.  Certificate of Recognition were awarded to both the schools in presence of the Principal and other school staff.
