Dainik Jagran-Inext conducted a ten-day campaign on improving the access to public toilets for women in Dehradun.  Members of the SDC Foundation were invited for sharing the views and recommendations during a round table discussion organized on the last day of the campaign. The Foundation highlighted the public health and sanitation issues related to poor toilet access to women, especially from marginalized sections. The Foundation also shared the findings of its urban audit conducted in 2019 highlighting the poor state of public toilets in the capital city. Dehradun Cantonment MLA Harbans Kapoor, officials from the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun, media personnel, college students and citizens were also present in the discussion.
