Doctors Meet: Studying the Impact of Air Pollution on Human Health in Uttarakhand

SDC organised a Doctors Meet to discuss the impact of air pollution on human health. The event was held at a local city government hospital and saw participation of city doctors from various fields. 

On the basis of the discussion, SDC released a summary report that provided eye-opening data about the direct impact of air pollution on our health. For example, air pollution is the major risk factor behind 9.3% of the total 65,000 deaths every year in the state of Uttarakhand.
