Doon Valley Cleanup is an initiative by SDC Foundation to collect and recover waste by doing community cleanups across the scenic Doon Valley. The cleanup is not only a direct and on ground effort to combat plastic pollution but also a way to engage citizens on sustainable plastic waste management and responsible tourism.

The cleanup was conducted at Maldevta tourist spot on September 19, 2021. During the cleanup more than 46 kilograms of waste were collected and finally recycled with the support of 8 volunteers and core members from SDC. Top branded plastic polluters were found to be Lays, Haldiram, Kurkure, Uncle Chips, Bingo and Maggi.
