SDC Foundation launched a Clean Air Campaign for Dehradun this Diwali. As city geared up to celebrate the festival, air quality became an important environmental concern. With limited air quality data monitoring system in Uttarakhand, SDC Foundation monitored air quality in a robust, digital and real time manner. The objective of the campaign was to record the results between the pre and post Diwali days. 

The outcome of the campaign revealed exceptionally high PM 2.5 and PM 10 levels becoming 10 to 15 times higher than the standard limit on the day of Diwali.
