SDC Founder Anoop Nautiyal engaged in an online dialogue with Mr. Erik Solheim, former Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The discussion centred around the increasing challenges of plastic pollution and citizen engagement.
Mr. Solheim expresses his grave concerns with global warming and climate change impacts and linked that to the waste scenarios. He shared several examples from different Indian states (Himalayan and coastal both) and urged greater action on several fronts.
