SDC hosted an online dialogue to celebrate the special occasion of ‘Himalaya Divas’ which is celebrated annually on September 9th. The day marks the importance of the Himalayas and 13 states present in the Indian Himalayan Region. It also calls for conservation of the Himalayan ecosystem.
The dialogue saw the participation of Advocate Rakshit Joshi, who spoke about the importance of the Himalayas to the nation and the necessity of striking an ecological balance in the mountains.
The dialogue was moderated by Gautam Kumar, Research and Communications, SDC Foundation.
