To raise awareness about the growing traffic issues in Dehradun, Hopetown Girls' School, in collaboration with SDC, published a detailed report outlining the causes and impact of traffic congestion in the city. The report also includes a comprehensive list of potential solutions.
The report is authored by three Hopetown Girls' students - Ahana, Akshma and Arva - and includes a foreword by SDC Founder Anoop Nautiyal. Together, they formally submitted this report to Mr. Savin Bansal, the District Magistrate (IAS), and Mr. Mahesh Thakur, the SP Traffic for Dehradun District. Both officials responded with great encouragement, attentively reviewing the students' research and assuring them that the findings would be taken forward.
We hope that this initiative by our young citizens will spark positive change and contribute to alleviating the traffic challenges facing the Dehradun valley!
